The blog’s new clothes

3 Sep

“After years of waiting” (as the song goes) my blog has a new theme. A personalised one. One that I won’t find on other blogs and start crying of anger (it has happened). One that Eddie designed while I was looking over his shoulder saying “I don’t like that” or “oh, oh, oh, I want that as well”.

It’s simpler, cleaner and still in progress :) Most probably I will change the pictures in the header from time to time and I still have some stuff to put in the sidebar (about me, my profiles on other sites, maybe a widget with my pictures from Lomo etc.) but this is it. This is my new blog theme and I love it even though there is just one small rainbow here, in the favicon :P

So, what do you say? Suggestions and comments are more than welcome :)

Lately

14 May

Lately I don’t have much to say here. My days are, with a few exceptions, all the same: I wake up, make breakfast, wash the dishes, waste my time online/do some school projects, sometimes I go to school, we come together back home, eat something, read/watch Seinfeld and go to bed. Day after day after day… It’s like I’m taking these pills that make less agitated, less revolted, less… It feels I’m running out of words and then I try to hide this by posting pictures. Oh well…

Crazy city

23 Apr

Yesterday was supposed to be a beautiful great day. Well… sometimes shit happens.

Like when you want to change your bike’s back tire and the man at the shop gives you a bigger model, you give it to the mechanic and after he takes the wheel and the old tire down and puts the new tire and the wheel back he realises it’s bigger and the the whole process starts over again. Now I still have my old tire, but they promised they would order a tire in the correct size for me and I should go back at their shop next week. We’ll see about that.

And then you plan on going to this whatever concert and when you get there they tell you need a reservation. “But we don’t want to sit down”. “Still, you need a reservation. You can’t attend the concert otherwise.” I wonder why these clubs bother updating their websites with the dates of the concerts if they can’t even put a small sign with “reservations needed”. Uhm, hello, I’ve been there to lots of concerts before, I didn’t need a reservation for those, how was I supposed to know I need one now? Jerks!

We ended up going to the Kumm concert instead. I’ve missed their concerts, but I can’t listen to their latest album offline. It sounds quite catchy hearing it live, but it kinda sucks when I play it at home. De gustibus.

I thought I was going to leave my bike at the repair shop, but they made the changes on the spot so I was stuck with it. When we went back home, he and Hanna took a cab and I pedaled home. I wasn’t properly dressed for biking at night, but I survived. It was 1 o’clock in the night, the streets were almost empty, it was awesome! At least that.
