Athens – last days and a summary

23 Jul

I was in my aunt’s living room, we were preparing to go to the airport and I was almost crying cause I didn’t want to leave. I simply loved it there! Well, I loved it as a tourist, but I loved it. The last 2 days there were spent shopping :D Call me what you like, but I simply couldn’t say no to all those discounts :D

And now a little summary:

  • cold water’s actually warm
  • Greek dudes are just nice, nothing special in the way they look
  • bus drivers are crazy!!!
  • the metro is awesome
  • cool, blue, salty sea :X
  • the Benaki Museum is a must-see
  • life there is not cheap
  • people are really friendly *and they liked my hair :D *
  • will somebody, please, turn off the heat?
  • the baclava is delicious!
  • they have really good vegetarian food
  • too bad the city’s kind of dirty :(
  • dude, where did the bubbles in the mineral water go?
  • they have uber-cool bookstores
  • the famous stray cats of Athens had been hiding from me :(
  • Yeah, I can’t believe I’m back in RO. It really feels funny home. Well, I’m not actually home, but at Roxa‘s *her mum’s sooo cool!!!* I’m going to freeze here in Mures, get wet in my Converse, enjoy a few concerts and have lots of fun with Roxa and Jen . This is what I call a cool summer :D

P.S. I’m going to the Massive Attack concert in Bucharest! I am going to see them agaaaaaiiiin! :X Oh, teh love!
