Sibiu and another tag

The train arrived at 5 in the morning and I went to bed at about 7, after having fed uRMa and taken a shower. I slept till 1 in the afternoon when Mum called; then I read Noua literatura and I think I’ll go back to sleep in no time ;))

I’m glad I went to Sibiu; I hadn’t been there for about 6-7 years and many things have changed during this period. The old part of Sibiu is breath-taking! It was love at first [well, second] sight! :X Almost all the houses have been redecorated, the streets have been re-paved, in fact, all that part of the town looks incredibly good. I love the streets there – they gave me the impression I was in a maze. I felt so bohemian there wandering up and down the streets, stopping to have a beer in on of the cosy pubs, talking about books and writers, holding hands with M., simply daydreaming. I want to go back there this summer, to stay for a couple of days. And that’s exactly what I will do :)

And now for the tag that I’ve received from Ale. It’s about the brands I use often. In my case it’s about my top brands, regardless of the fact that I used them or I just like them very much:


And here is the explanation for each brand I use/like:

  • Gmail: I’m a late comer into the Gmail-family, but I find it very user friendly
  • Carturesti: the perfect place to have a delicious cup of tea and enjoy a book
  • Haribo: the best fruit gums!
  • Levi’s: my favourite jeans-brand
  • Humanitas, Polirom: my favourite Romanian publishing companies
  • Converse: do I really have to give an explanation for this one? :P
  • Libraria Noi: favourite book store in Bucharest
  • Eastpak: I looove the backpacks they make!
  • Apple: well, I don’t like all their products, I just love my iPod :D
  • Internet Explorer: because I hate Firefox :D
  • Coca-Cola: I don’t drink as much Coke as I used to, in fact I barely drink Coke, but it’s still my favourite soda pop
  • Silva Dark: the only beer I truly enjoy drinking
  • Heinz: =P~
  • Last.fm: what would I do without this wonderful music counter? :)
  • Friskies: uRMa loves it! :D
  • Milka: my precious!!! :X
  • Nokia: I wouldn’t use another phone brand even if it was the last on earth! :P
  • uRMa: it’s not exactly a brand, but I love it nonetheless :D
  • Uncle Ben’s: I love you Uncle Ben and I love your sauces; they save me from starvation! ;))
  • Swatch: one day I’ll have a colorful Swatch watch, I know I will! 8->
  • eBookwise: because I love my eBook reader
  • Fredo and Pid’Jin: I adore those evil pigeons!!!
  • Garfield: :X
  • Pickwick: they have bloody delicious types of tea!

    Sibiu, here I come!

    I’m going to Sibiu. Just like that! :)) I talked to M. on the phone, he said to go, and I’m going! My Maria and Jen are there as well [there's a music festival this week going on, that's why they are all there :P ], I called them, told them I’m coming and here I am, packing and dancing and yeah, I’m going to Sibiu! :)) Only good things happen on Fridays! :D

    I don’t know what’s wrong with her, but she’s extremely loving these days. She jumps into my lap and purrs, she sleeps with me each and every night and purrs, she miaows and purrs, she’s purring all the time. And she is very affectionate. What is she really trying to tell me cause I don’t think I’m getting all this special attention for nothing :D
